**Job Description**
Stanford University is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to perform basic functions and activities involved in defined research projects, and independently conduct and analyze experiments. These research projects relate to novel molecular and cellular therapeutics for the prevention of heart disease. The lab focuses on understanding endogenous mechanisms of angiogenesis, myocardial regeneration, angiogenesis to prevent heart failure, and tissue engineering to limit left ventricular remodeling.
**We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:**
+ Mammalian cell culture
+ Willingness to work with small and large animals
+ Tissue harvesting and sample processing
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills
+ Ability to maintain detailed experimental record
