Job Summary
Performs multiple aspects of plumbing and pipefitting work for either maintenance, new construction, or remodeling of Corewell Health facilities. Ensures that all plumbing work complies with applicable codes and standards, as well as obtaining proper permits as required. Carries out other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
+ Inspects sites and plans jobs, material procurement, install, repair, replacement or modification, for commercial plumbing systems or other specialty systems.
+ Troubleshoot and analyze faulty systems/plumbing components, and repair or replace as necessary.
+ Performs Preventative Maintenance on all plumbing systems.
+ Read and interpret blueprints or other mechanical drawings to determine materials needed and job procedures for a project, also determine if special tools or equipment required.
+ Prioritizes work load and responds to all emergency plumbing calls.
