Opportunity Description
We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Business Law section. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and practice management support to lawyers within the group. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail and professionalism when interacting with lawyers, firm members, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, editing, formatting, and managing legal documents, including agreements, correspondence, memoranda, presentations, organizational charts, and other practice specific documents
- Managing file opening and conflict searches
- Proofreading documents against originals and preparing blackline/comparisons as required
