Our client, in the insurance industry, has an opportunity for an experienced Legal and Compliance Officer who will report to the Global Head of Legal, Risk Management, and Compliance. This role involves working independently while being part of a team. The successful candidate will be adaptable, agile, and able to engage in projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance: Contribute to building and maintaining the 2nd Line of Defense (Lo D) function: Assist the 1st Lo D in identifying risks. Help the 1st Lo D develop and implement controls. Develop compliance checklists and prepare compliance reports. Assist in policy and guideline reviews to ensure compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations. Assist in training and implementation of policies, guidelines, and work instructions. Draft and review internal policies.
