Leadhand - Service Technician 'A' - Full-Time

Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor – Equipment (Transit), works with and provides technical direction to Service Technicians in the servicing of Transit buses and equipment. Completes inspection reports and participates in the development and implementation of all repair and maintenance programs within the Transit Section.

Major Responsibilities

• Performs all duties of the Service Technician A and provides technical direction to the service crew regarding proper operation, minor maintenance servicing, and minor repairs.
• Ensures preparation and completion of all documentation related to divisional operations as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Participates in the development and implementation of repair prioritization and preventative maintenance programs and servicing.
