Lead Mobile Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are now looking for a LEAD MOBILE SOFTWARE ENGINEER to own the technical direction of our shared mobile platform, the foundation our digital teams build their mobile experiences on. This senior individual‑contributor role focuses on technical leadership while staying close to the code. The platform is a React Native (Expo) project built with TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical and architectural direction for the shared mobile platform.
• Stay hands‑on: design and build core parts of the platform, review code and designs, and tackle hard problems yourself.
• Champion strong quality across the platform—including automated testing, testable‑by‑design code, and observability that lets teams release and run the app with confidence.
• Set and grow the mobile practices, guidelines and tooling that work across teams, ensuring each team has what it needs to succeed.
