:Reporting to the Longhole Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Operations Department. You will be responsible for supporting Mine Operations and being part of the underground team including Services/Construction and Maintenance. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Loading explosives, installation, grouting and tensioning of cable bolts for hanging wall support;
Competently perform all Mining 2, 3 & 4 functions (Services & Construction);
Read and understand blast prints from engineering;
Wash, scale and prepare areas for safe loading activities;
Communication – listen to and communicate with others, keep accurate records on 5 point card, aligning with daily tasks;
