Lead Engineer - BWRX-300 Plant Electrical Systems

Job Description Summary: This role is responsible for the design of electrical power systems supporting the BWRX-300 Small Module Reactor. The work involves the design, analysis, procurement and integration of electrical power systems ranging from the main generator and grid connection to plant distribution systems and end‑use loads.

Markham, Ontario (relocation assistance provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and integration of SC1/Class 1E, SC2 and SC3 electrical systems, including Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution.
• Perform complex electrical studies such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting and protective relay coordination using ETAP software and ANSI / IEC standards.
• Prepare electrical engineering deliverables—Requirements Specifications, Electrical Load Lists, One‑lines, Calculations, Schematics and 3‑Line diagrams—ensuring on‑spec, on‑budget and on‑schedule delivery.
