Lead Data Engineer

• Lead engineer in a new Data Engineering team
• Dublin based - hybrid working
• Long term day rate contract

Partnering with a client in the financial services industry undertaking a major investment in its data platform for a 12-month day rate contract. 

This position would suit an experienced Principal Data Engineer or Technical Lead who enjoys remaining hands-on while providing technical leadership, driving engineering best practices and supporting the successful delivery of complex data initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud-based data engineering solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to a team of data engineers.
