Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Laser Operator to run both flat (2D) and tube (3D) CNC laser cutting machines. This role also supports general shop activities including housekeeping, basic maintenance, material preparation, and unloading and sorting finished parts. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a team, and is adaptable, with a focus on supporting production efficiency and throughput.
The Laser Operator is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime available based on production demands. This position is for the day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the possibility of extended hours based on production demands. There is a potential of future rotating shifts.
Duties
- Set up and operate laser cutting programs daily
- Adjust laser parameters such as alignment, head and nozzle changes, lens cleaning, and cutting speeds to ensure high‑quality parts at the best possible efficiency.
