Overview:
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is seeking an experienced and hardworking individual to joinour Animal Care team. This person will be responsible for the husbandry of Large Felines and other animal areas as assigned.
Responsibilities:
+ Safely feed, clean andpreformdaily husbandry of animals in Animal Care.
+ Give medication to animals as directed by Supervisor.
+ Record daily entries into logbook concerning animal care and behaviors.
+ Back up and or walk assigned animals around park ensuring animal and guest safety
+ Handle animals in and out of the park as needed.
+ Answer guest’s questions concerning animal care, diet, etc. and other general park information in a polite courteous and informative manner
+ Follow all department and park policies.
+ Assist other team membersand Departmentsasneeded.
+ Maintain equipment and enclosures as needed.
+ Animals in collection consist ofTigers, Lions, Cheetah’s & Cougar’s
