Job Summary

Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation (ACFN) Industry Relations Corporation (IRC) is seeking a Land Use Coordinator for a part‑time position that may develop into full time. The role involves land use planning activities, coordination, and management of land use data, traditional land use studies, developer applications, industry consultations, and community engagement.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Post‑Secondary Four (4) Year Degree in a related discipline (Land Use Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management…)
• Three to Four (3‑4) years’ experience in land use planning
• Experience in traditional land use and occupancy mapping
• Experience in natural resource management and planning, and applicable legislation, policies and regulatory agencies
• Extensive awareness and/or knowledge and understanding of environmental and socio‑economic issues and concerns
