Labour Relations Consultant

• Providing labour relations advice to members on a range of labour, employment law, privacy law, workplace health and safety and human rights law issues.
• Interpreting collective agreements, legislation, and policy, and utilizing established interpretations and guidelines to ensure consistent application of the collective agreement and legislation and continuity in the provision of advice within the health sector.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with member organizations, health sector unions and outside agencies; fosters effective working relationships within HEABC.
• Representing HEABC and its member organizations at meetings to resolve disputes prior to formal third-party hearings and addressing employer specific issues or industry issues.
