Job Title: Laboratory Technician - 2nd ShiftJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Technician for a full-time position working 4x10 hour shifts. The 2nd shift schedule includes Monday to Tuesday and Thursday to Friday from 12 pm to 10:30 pm, with Wednesdays and weekends off.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct microbiology lab testing for 80% to 90% of the workday.
+ Perform plating, pipetting, and use various lab equipment.
+ Complete remedial tasks such as documentation and cleaning for one to two hours daily.
+ Collaborate with the team and cross-train into additional lab areas based on performance.
Essential Skills
+ Strong understanding and knowledge of biology and microbiology.
+ Proficiency in handling lab equipment and conducting laboratory procedures.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
