Laboratory Assistant – Part Time, Regular (20–37.5 hours per week, 2 days off, float role across PSCs)

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and request required information, explain specimen collection process, and ensure compliance with test protocols.
• Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, 24‑hour blood pressure monitoring, and ECG tracings.
• Collect special tests such as medical/legal drug screens, paternity tests, and clinical trial samples, completing related documentation.
• Maintain client relationships by responding to inquiries and following up on requests.
• Enter patient demographics, requisition information, and other data needed for processing test results.
• Prepare specimens for transportation and laboratory testing.
