**Job Summary:**

Under direct supervision, supervises assignments within the laboratory and acts as a resource to Laboratory Support Technicians.

**Job Responsibilities and Requirements:**

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Schedules, plans, delegates and supervises assignments. Provides feedback during performance review process.
+ Ensures daily workflow is completed following established procedures.
+ Assists leadership on projects of medium complexity and size.
+ May orient new staff.
+ Performs the loading and unloading of lab specimens from automated and non-automated instrumentation, as well as perform various waived testing.
+ Assists customers including answering phones and responding to customer inquiries.
