LifeLabs – Lab Patient Technician (Part Time, Float)

This role is part of LifeLabs’ commitment to providing high‑quality diagnostic testing across Canada. As a Lab Patient Technician, you will play a key role in the specimen collection process, from greeting patients through preparation of specimens for transport.

Schedule and Location

Hours: Monday to Saturday (6:15AM–6:00PM Monday‑Friday, 7:00AM–1:00PM Saturday). Must be willing to cover the entire region and have a valid driver’s license and car.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients, collect required information, explain specimen collection procedures, and ensure test protocols are followed.
• Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and conduct ECG tracings.
• Collect special test samples (medical/legal drug screens, paternity tests, clinical trials) and complete required documentation.
