As a Lab Assistant, you will play a crucial role in processing raw biological materials, primarily cow and pig blood, by separating the red and white blood cells to support the production of calibrators for hematology instruments. Your responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning production equipment and containers after processing runs in an FDA-regulated lab environment.
Responsibilities
+ Operate centrifuges and clean dishware.
+ Wrap cleaned equipment for further sterilization.
+ Batch and label products accurately.
+ Document results and processes, referencing past batch records.
+ Understand and adhere to lab protocols and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), including regulatory awareness of chemical handling and hazards, compliance, and proper equipment use.
+ Follow daily work instructions and priorities as set by the supervisor with a commitment to safety.
