Position Overview
The Kiewit Power Engineering Group is seeking several mid-level and senior Electrical Designers to join our growing Calgary team! The Electrical Designers are responsible for developing detailed raceway designs including duct bank, embedded conduit and cable tray from concept to completion. They will lead and collaborate with Kiewit’s construction teams to approach construction‑driven engineering with a focus on safe, cost‑effective, and innovative designs that achieve client expectations and further Kiewit’s legacy of excellence.
Location
This position is based out of Calgary, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Design duct bank, embedded conduit, cable tray, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion utilizing engineering documents, sketches or vendor data.
- Perform calculations to size and check allowable fill in conduits and cable tray systems according to Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) requirements....
