KACT 159 – Introduction to Movement EducationAn introduction to the theoretical, practical, and professional aspects of the content and methodology of movement education, and the growth and development of children.
*Note: Includes a required activity based lab experience in a gender-inclusive environment.
This course is offered through the University of Regina Faculty of Education Bachelor of Education Program in partnership with NorthWest College in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Enrollment is restricted to students admitted to the North West College Bachelor of Education Program. Position Requirements A graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in an area appropriate for the course (ie .Kinesiology). Courses in the subject area at a graduate or undergraduate level from an accredited post-secondary institution we would consider transfer credit from are required.
