Are you a certified Automotive Technician? Valard Construction is hiring for a 12-month term as a Field Automotive Service Technician on the Waasigan Transmission Line project in Ontario.
This role involves independent work in a remote setting, focusing on diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles. You will handle diagnostics with tools like JalTest and Ford IDS, ensuring that all vehicles remain functional and safe throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicle issues
• Utilize diagnostic software effectively
• Conduct road tests for vehicle safety
• Keep precise records of maintenance performed
• Advise on maintenance needs to the Fleet Supervisor
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician certification
• Demonstrated troubleshooting experience
• Strong skills in JalTest and Ford IDS
• Valid Class G driver’s license with no infractions
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors
