Journeyman Millwright

Amrize is looking for a Journeyman Millwright for our Exshaw, AB Cement Plant. Millwrights ensure both breakdown and planned maintenance on a variety of equipment, completed efficiently, safely, and in an environmentally friendly manner. This position is offered as a 12‑month maternity leave coverage contract with a possibility of extension.

What you’ll accomplish

• Troubleshoot problems and identify root causes
• Inspect and test equipment, making appropriate decisions
• Operate light mobile equipment, motorized manlifts, and overhead cranes
• Use PPW, adding comments at the end of each shift
• Communicate, improve, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors
