Journeyman Carpenter (FIFO - Resolute Bay, NU)

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter to join our Resolute Bay Operations in Resolute Bay, NU. The Journeyman Carpenter is responsible for constructing, repairing, restoring, and installing structural wood/steel work and related materials.

This position is based on a 4 week on, 4 week off work rotation with travel and accommodations included.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain doors, floors, windows, partitions, ceilings, and exteriors of buildings; build and install door and window framing.
• Build wooden/steel structures such as partitions, building and office additions, performs sheeting and rough carpentry on the buildings as well as final finishes.
• Perform hand and bench work in carpentry work shop; operate planers, joiners, drill presses, power saws, sanders, and other woodworking machinery.
