Journeyman Automotive Technician (Banff)

The Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers for over 40 years, is offering an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team at Taza Park Volkswagen.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately based on approved estimates
• Perform road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicle safety and performance
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship to support customer satisfaction
• Diagnose mechanical issues using proper procedures and diagnostic tools
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding findings and required work
• Identify and recommend additional repairs or maintenance when necessary
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, secure work environment

Qualifications

• Journeyman Automotive Technician certification (required)
• Valid Alberta driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
