Be part of a busy anesthesia team in Duncan, Vancouver Island, at Island Health as a full-time Anesthesiologist. This role supports both existing and new surgical services.
Island Health is looking for a full-time Anesthesiologist to work at Cowichan District Hospital, a 134-bed facility. You will assist in expanding anesthetic services in preparation for a new 200+ bed hospital opening in 2027. The position also involves teaching opportunities within the Island Medical Program affiliated with the University of British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide anesthetic care for surgical patients
• Engage in teaching medical students and residents
• Participate in the transition to the new hospital
