WordPress Developer

About This Role

We regularly deliver WordPress projects for SMB and enterprise clients. We need a developer who can build custom themes from Figma files, develop bespoke plugins, and keep site performance in the top Core Web Vitals scores. This is a contract role with ongoing work available.

Key Responsibilities

• Build custom WordPress themes from design files (Figma/XD)
• Develop bespoke plugins and WooCommerce extensions
• Optimise site performance — Core Web Vitals, caching, CDN
• Manage deployments via Git and staging/production workflows
• Integrate third-party APIs and marketing tools
• Ensure sites meet WCAG accessibility and security standards
• Provide technical documentation for client handoff

• 3+ years WordPress development
