Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a highly skilled and team-oriented Thoracic Surgeon to join its Department of Surgery in Regina, Saskatchewan. Candidates must possess comprehensive fellowship training in Thoracic Surgery including Lung, Esophagus, Upper GI and Chest wall surgery. Preference will be given to candidates with specialized training and experience in minimally invasive/Robotic techniques and complex thoracic procedures. Preference will be given to applicants with Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons or American College of Surgeons certification.

The successful candidate will be provided with guaranteed weekly OR access and ample procedural time in the ambulatory care and endoscopy units. The thoracic surgery program is fully supported by a top-tier Anesthesiology, critical care and nursing team.
