AtkinsRéalis has a large, experienced hydroelectric team (over 100 employees) composed primarily of engineers and technicians, located in Montreal and Vancouver. The team’s activities include geotechnics and geology, civil engineering and structure, hydrology and hydraulics, mechanics and electricity. They work across the Canadian market and sometimes undertake international projects. The role is that of a structural engineer working on technical mandates specific to hydroelectric structures such as dams, spillways, and powerhouses. You will support the client in decision‑making and help clarify their needs while working within the engineering team on the analysis, design, and rehabilitation of structures for dam, hydraulic works, building, and bridge projects in hydroelectricity.
