Senior Research Associate

Position Overview

The Centre for Advanced Coating Technologies (CACT) in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering is seeking to fill a Senior Research Associate position. The research group conducts research in the areas of advanced coating technologies, thermal spray processing, cold spray additive manufacturing, solid‑state battery materials, and functional coatings.

The Research Associate will work directly under the supervision of Prof. Ali Dolatabadi on projects related to advanced materials processing and coating technologies where they will develop and execute the research vision with the PI to achieve research goals. The individual is expected to publish at conferences and in journals and supervise research students.
