Opportunity Description
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN offers clinical direction to Health Care Aides, Unit Clerks, other RN IIs, and LPNs when assigned charge responsibilities. The RN practices consistent with professional obligations, including the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice, the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act, and applicable provincial and federal legislation. The RN supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Interlake‑Eastern Regional Health Authority.
Qualifications
- Active practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or eligibility for active practicing licensure (CRNM).
