Program Coordinator, Surgical and Perioperative Services

Summary of responsibilities

The primary role of the Surgical and Perioperative Services Coordinator is to support operational activities and quality improvement initiatives, under the guidance of the surgical and perioperative management team and director.
•Daily support with leadership and coordination of perioperative services.
• Project participation with continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintaining continuous quality improvement metrics for the surgical and perioperative program.
• Daily support of perioperative staffing and scheduling
• Inventory management
• Purchasing oversight
• Review and follow up on incident reports
• Participation in operational meetings (ex: Team Meetings, NSQIP, Unit Council)
• Participate in the development and/or review of policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
