Process Engineer

The Process Engineer independently applies engineering theories and principles, managing moderately complex or contributing to complex projects in the design of process, and support of products and tools in a manufacturing environment.

Nature of Duties/ Responsibilities

First Time Build process design execution and reporting.

A significant requirement of the Process Engineers role is to monitor process performance through online tracking and enhance through continuous improvement initiatives.

Implements continuous improvement programs to drive up the yields.

Create wave solder programs, troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing process equipment (wave solder, selective solder, hand solder).

Identify tooling and transport methods.

Ability to design manufacturing process tooling and fixtures.

Create and update SOPs standard operating procedures, work instructions, and visual aids for the soldering processes.
