Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation and Grey Bruce District Stroke Centre, the occupational therapist is responsible for providing services to referred stroke clients in a variety of settings, with a focus on cognition, perception, community integration and attaining optimal recovery. The occupational therapist will also ensure optimal independence and safety in the home and return to or development of new activities and roles that are important to the client. They will provide client‑specific consultation and education, training, and in‑services related to stroke rehabilitation for service providers, caregivers and families.
