Network Engineer

Network Engineer functions in three main areas: Operations, Planning, and Management.

Operations

• Actively monitoring the network and responding to alerts and verifying notifications sent by network monitoring and management systems.
• Acting as first line of support for network incidents, performing initial troubleshooting and triage before categorizing and escalating incident tickets. Maintaining incident management and documentation throughout the incident’s lifecycle.

Planning

• Coordinating and communicating maintenance windows. Working with local site IT leaders and Network administrators to provide maintenance windows and describe maintenance impact according to thorough impact analysis.
• Keeping track of license, maintenance, and support contracts and their expiry dates. Escalating to management when expiration dates are near.

Management

• Documenting Infrastructure changes...
