Mechanical Engineer

AECOM invites applications for a motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the design and construction of buildings within the Buildings + Places business line. The role may be based in Markham, Mississauga or Pickering with hybrid work options.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate-level Mechanical Engineer to join a talented team working on a wide range of building typologies primarily for the Federal Government and on Transit Projects.

Major Responsibilities

• Design of Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC systems.
• Review HVAC calculations prepared by junior staff and prepare design HVAC design concepts and layouts. Assist in preparing markups and design instructions for modelling/drafting by technicians and junior staff.
