Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing mechanical systems and creating drawing packages for Bluedrop's simulation product group. The Mechanical Engineer reports to the Senior Director, Systems Engineering. The Mechanical Engineer will work on the improvement of Bluedrop's existing simulator products and working with a team to develop new simulation products.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and development of drawing packages.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with any professional CAD software, including a minimum of 1 year experience using AutoDesk Inventor.
• Knowledge of Skeleton modelling or top-down modelling techniques is a definite asset.
• Knowledge and application of GD&T callouts and tolerance stack-up is a definite asset.
