Job Overview

As a Manager, International Tax at Doane Grant Thornton, you will collaborate with the International Tax team to advise multinational organizations on their tax strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance across diverse jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of income tax provisions under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Work with team members on Canadian tax compliance matters with a focus on foreign reporting (including surplus accounts, T106, T1134, T1135, NR4, and withholding taxes).
• Structure Canadian operations and conduct tax due diligence for the acquisition of Canadian target entities.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to develop strategies that reduce worldwide effective tax rates for multinational clients.
