Opportunity Description
The role is responsible for leading the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and provide enhancements to existing Mainframe COBOL Application technologies. The role works on complex issues involving one or more technical areas, DB2, IMS DB, Common languages used in mainframe development include COBOL, VSAM, JCL,... The role collaborates with developers, architects and infrastructure specialists to gather requirements and conduct research to evaluate the application of new and emerging tools and techniques, identifying patterns and best practices to consider in technology proposals while anticipating long term business issues. The role devises new methods and procedures using strong analytic and inductive thinking, developing project plans based on appropriate standards and methodology.
