Intern Architect AIBC – Vancouver BC, Canada. Newly created position.

Responsibilities

• Strong, hands‑on technical knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Document review and inter‑disciplinary coordination
• Develop or assist in the development of studies, programs, concepts, preliminary and final plans and specifications for projects of varying type and scale
• Prepare, review and approve drawings, specifications and other documentation as required. These will range from design presentation documents to technical documents for building permit, tender and construction and technical reports
• Ensure designs are developed in compliance with client program of requirements and in compliance with local codes, standards and applicable regulations
• Ensure designs are developed in accordance with AECOM processes, design and quality standards
