Instrumentation Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production.
• Install and maintain all measurement and control systems including DCS/PLC, flowmeters, pH transmitters, density gauges, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and online analyzers.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repairs.
• Maintain leaky feeder/telephone/radio communications.

Requirements

• Interprovincial red seal or instrumentation engineering technology diploma.
• Three to five years of directly related work experience in an industrial or mine environment.
• Required to work both underground and on surface.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must work a rotation schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
