Opportunity Description
Reporting to the Team Supervisor, the Instrumentation Technician will perform maintenance activities such as calibrations, repairs, troubleshooting process control on a variety of plant process instrumentation and related control systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Complete root cause analysis utilizing software and technology to diagnose field devices. Following on with recommendations for repair, replacement & improvements of these device. Ensure all work complies with quality management system, health & safety standards and all applicable codes. Interpret Operating & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, diagrams, schematics, prints and recommend revisions. Organize, coordinate and work with external contractors and equipment suppliers while performing calibrations or repairs to process equipment, including the inspection of completed work to ensure it conforms to Regional standards and industry best practices.
