Opportunity Description
Prince Albert Grand Council (PAGC) is actively seeking to recruit a permanent full-time Home Care Registered Nurse for Cumberland House Cree Nation.
Qualifications
- Registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Have at least 5 or more years in an acute care setting; previous home care nursing experience in First Nations community preferred.
- Maintain valid SK Driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
- Self‑motivated and self‑directed
- Able to work independently and as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team
- Strong physical assessment skills
Assets
- Knowledge of Cree language and culture
- Previous home care nursing experience
- Knowledge or awareness of First Nations community health programs and treatment services
