The Building Operations Technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.

Data center equipment that supports mission‑critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. Building Technicians drive innovation while reducing operational costs, and serve as front‑line respondents for electrical and mechanical issues that affect Amazon’s availability.

• Switchboards/switch‑gears
• UPS systems
• PDU units
• AHU, CRAHU, and CRAC units
