Electronic Assembler

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Assembler to join a growing production team within a large Engineering company in Calgary. This role is 5 days/week, 8 hours a day, on a 12 month contract with high potential to extend/convert to full time. You will support Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and electronics assembly, as well as assisting with electrical and mechanical testing. The work will vary daily, offering a mix of hands-on technical assembly and computer-based testing/documentation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform PCB (printed circuit board) and electronics assembly, including soldering to IPC standards
• Support testing of electrical and mechanical components
• Complete quality checks and documentation using internal systems and Excel
• Follow ESD protocols and safety procedures at all times
