Opportunity Description
Build a safer work environment as an EHS Advisor with Aecon Group in Cambridge, ON. This one-year contract role focuses on safety compliance and environmental health practices.
Reporting directly to the EHS Manager, you'll be integral to supporting the Fabrication team regarding Environmental Health and Safety regulations. This role demands strong knowledge in safety inspections, hazard management, and the implementation of the Safety Management Program. You'll engage in field activities to promote effective safety standards and compliance measures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and facilities
• Oversee hazardous materials handling and compliance
• Verify proper use of safety equipment and PPE
• Maintain detailed records of safety metrics and inspections
• Promote injury prevention strategies across teams
