Role: Data Scientist – Banking & Capital Calculations Location: Downtown Toronto, Canada Hybrid Requirements / Must Have Skills:
10+ years’ Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Analyst, with at least 5+ within Banking or Capital Calculations 5+ years’ proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and performance optimization 2+ years hands‑on experience with Python (basic coding knowledge) Experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets Solid grounding in statistics, data analysis, and predictive modelling Nice‑To‑Have Skills:
Robust understanding of financial products, markets, and industry data Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and reportingFamiliarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Basic understanding of LLMs, AI tools e.g. CoPilot Soft Skills Required:
