Country Controller (Lethbridge)

Arconic is currently in search of a Country Controller to join our team based in Lethbridge.

The Controller is responsible for all financial affairs in Kawneer Canada and acts as a business partner to the Plant Manager. The Controller manages a team of two and reports directly to the Plant Manager of Lethbridge (the main Kawneer operation in Canada), and functionally to the BCS Operations Finance Director.

People Management

• Responsible for managing the finance team.
• Hire, train, and develop a team that operates efficiently in a pleasant work environment.
• Implement succession planning.

Compliance

• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements, and effective internal control.
• Act as an authority on GAAP-related accounting matters for Canadian entities, including revenue recognition and cost accounting.
