Controls Engineer

Job Description

Reporting to the VP–Engineering (functionally) and the Head of Operations (operationally), the Controls Engineer will lead the company’s efforts in relation to the design, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of automation and controls systems for our air- or liquid-cooled High Performance Computing (HPC) data centers.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in a technical engineering discipline with at least 5 years of experience in the controls and automation fields in a heavy industrial or mission‑critical setup.
• Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical cooling systems and their modes of operation, relevant magnitudes, their typical field devices, sensors, and actuators (e.g., energy, temperature, pressure, flow, vibration), and their signal types and wiring methods for control and monitoring.
