Category Manager

CoolIT Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our Calgary team! In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing of materials, supplier performance and contract management, global supplier engagement, and vendor master management. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the strategic sourcing process, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to drive data‑based decision‑making. Experience in engineering, prototype build, NPI, and manufacturing environment is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing of materials (e.g., parts, components, and assemblies) that reflects the needs of the business with alignment to SCM Sourcing Strategies, quality requirements, including QMS documentation, regulatory, and financial frameworks.
