Building Operator (4th class Power Engineer)

As a CBRE Building Operator (4th class Power engineer), you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium‑sized buildings, building systems, and equipment. This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

• Perform daily rounds and log readings; investigate any issues.
• Complete preventative/demand maintenance tasks and input histories into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as needed.
• Start‑up/shutdown building infrastructure equipment.
• Inspect, operate, maintain, and repair mechanical/electrical systems and equipment (including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, pumps, generators, and life‑safety systems).
• Perform repairs such as replace washers/faucets, clear sinks and drains, clear sumps, reset breakers, and repair pipe systems.
